About this webinar

Jaz Wilkinson
UX & Product Strategist, Freelance
Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand

Speaker bio:

Jaz first fell in love with experience design in the hospitality industry, while teaching herself to build websites on a dial-up modem. She got her first break as web designer in the year 2000, and worked in digital agencies in NZ & the UK before focusing on UX as a specialisation.

Jaz has worked for tech companies with millions of users globally and designed award-winning digital products for NZ success stories such as Flip, PlaceMakers & Tend Health.

She has established user-centred design processes in a number of product teams, driving outcomes with measurable impact on business success and customer satisfaction, and worked as a product designer, UX strategist and product manager.

Outside of work, she dabbles in parametric furniture design, home automation design and is just a little bit obsessed with mid-century architecture.

Want a seat at the table? Learn how to use the principles of product strategy to become a more strategic designer and deliver work that really ‘moves the needle’.

Designers are all too often just seen as ‘pixel-pushers’ - when the business of design is all about solving problems. Often, designers are not included in product strategy, or worse - there IS no product strategy!

Using real-life examples from highly successful products, learn how thinking like a product manager can give you more influence in the direction of a product or service - and drive results that stand out.
